Adina Lefkowitz
Adina Lefkowitz, a public school mathematics teacher, recognized the need to bridge religious, racial and educational divides. Her unique solution harnesses the potential of young adults, our future leaders, to pave the path. Adina founded TLC Education to unite students through leadership and service, fostering civic engagement and emphasizing commonalities over differences. Adina Lefkowitz actively manages and oversees TLC Education’s daily operations to ensure its success and impact. She provides hands-on leadership by engaging all stakeholders, recruiting and training student leaders, managing applications, coordinating programming and budgets, supervising sessions, conducting outreach, and implementing technology for effective operations. In 2024, the Teaneck Town Council recognized TLC Education’s contributions.
Organizational Background
Teen Interns Leading Together (TILT) was founded in 2020, offering both remote and in-person programming. In 2023, Teen Learning Community (TLC) was established, and both initiatives now operate under TLC Education LLC. Over the years, both programs have experienced steady growth in student participation and community engagement. In 2024, TILT and TLC were honored with a Certificate of Recognition from the Teaneck Town Council for their contributions. Ongoing collaboration with community leaders and members has highlighted strong and increasing interest in these programs.
