Teen Learning Community (TLC)

TLC is a community mentoring program where public and non-public high school students volunteer their time to tutor middle school students. Middle school students from public and non-public schools receive free and individualized support in mathematics and language arts.

Registration Process

In order to ensure the program’s success, registered students are expected to attend all of the tutoring sessions. Please review the information that follows and indicate if you are able to commit to the dates and times indicated.

Your involvement is critical to the success of the program. We ask that you:

Ensure that your child arrives on time to each session and is picked up on time. All tutors are volunteers, and we want to make sure we respect their time.
Ensure your child comes prepared with school material to work on and supplies.
Reply to tutor emails in a timely manner.
